Foster Engineering Company Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer.

Company history

The company from Letchworth Garden City , Hertfordshire started producing automobiles in 1922 . The designer was Albert Bowyer-Lowe , who previously worked for JAP . The brand name was Autogear . Production ended in the same year. There was no connection to Autogear Limited from Leeds , which used the same brand name from 1922 to 1923.
