NP (car brand)

NP was a British automobile brand that was owned by Salmons Car Co. Ltd. from 1922 to 1925 . was made in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire . NP stands for the place of manufacture. Salmons was actually a cartwright and therefore equipped its automobiles with bought-in engines.

The smaller model was the NP 12/16 hp . The car had an overhead four-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 1.8 l. It had a wheelbase of 2819 mm and was only offered in 1922.

In 1923 the larger NP 14/22 hp appeared , the four-cylinder engine of which had a displacement of 2.1 l. The wheelbase of the car was 2,972 mm.

At the end of 1925 the brand disappeared from the market.
