Turner's Motor Manufacturing Co Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Wolverhampton-based company , which was already manufacturing vehicles under the Turner-Miesse and Seymour-Turner brands , began producing automobiles in 1911, which were marketed as Turner . In addition, built-in engines were delivered to Day-Leeds . Production ended in 1930.

The first 9 HP model was the only one with a two-cylinder engine . The displacement was initially 1021 cm³, in the second and last year of production 1145 cm³. From then on only four-cylinder engines were used. The 10/15 HP was available from 1912 to 1915 with a displacement of 1128 cm³. In 1912 the 15 HP with a displacement of 2120 cm³ was produced. Between 1913 and 1914 there was the 12 HP with either 1645 cm³ or 1847 cm³ displacement. In 1914 the 12/20 HP followed , which was equipped with a displacement of 2178 cm³ until 1919. Only in 1920 there was the 13/15 HP with 2120 cm³ displacement. Between 1921 and 1923 the 11/24 HP with 1795 cm³ displacement was produced. The 14/30 HP was available between 1921 and 1924 either with a displacement of 2120 cm³ or 2304 cm³. The last model 12/20 HP appeared in 1923, it was produced until 1930 with 1496 cm³ displacement.

Two vehicles from this manufacturer can be viewed at the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley .
