The Magnetic Car Co. Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer based in Chelsea (London) . From 1921 to 1925, upper middle-class vehicles were built there.
In 1921 the Magnetic 15.9 hp was introduced. It had a four-cylinder in-line engine with slide control and a displacement of 2.6 l. The engine power was a Flam - magnet gear routed to the rear wheels, which had subsequently every Magnetic models. Its chassis had a wheelbase of 3,137 mm. The car was built until 1925.
The following year, the Magnetic 30/50 hp was added to his side. It had an eight-cylinder in-line engine with the same stroke and bore as the 15.9 hp and thus a displacement of 5.2 l. This engine also worked on the Knight principle . The car, which was built until 1923, had a wheelbase of 3,734 mm.
In 1924 the Magnetic 25/50 hp replaced the large 30/50 hp. It had a six-cylinder in-line engine with 2.9 l displacement and a more conventional OHV valve control . The wheelbase was 3,200 mm. In 1925 the 25/50 hp received an engine that had been bored out to 3.3 l.
At the end of 1925 the brand disappeared from the market.
