Belford Motor Company was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Edinburgh company began manufacturing automobiles in 1920. The brand name was Milton , named after sponsor Hangel Jacque Milton. In November 1921, four vehicles were presented at the Olympic Show . Production ended in 1922. According to the chassis numbers, twelve vehicles were built up to the liquidation, then at least one more by the liquidator.

The first model 9 HP had a four-cylinder engine of Alpha with 1088 cc displacement , a friction and chain drive. From 1921 a built-in engine from Decolange with 1592 cm³ capacity drove the 10 HP . Two and four-seater touring cars , coupés and sports cars were on offer . The last model received an engine from Dorman .
