The Mercury Cars Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer in Twickenham (Middlesex) . From 1913 to 1923, mid-range cars were built there.

The Mercury 12/14 hp appeared in 1913 with a 1.9 liter four-cylinder in-line engine. The touring car's chassis had a 2743 mm wheelbase. The First World War ended production in 1915.

In 1920 the smaller model Mercury 10 hp was launched. Equipped with a four-cylinder engine, it had a displacement of 1.3 l. It was made until 1923. The wheelbase corresponded to that of the pre-war model.

The Mercury 11.9 hp from 1921 can be considered the real successor to the 12/14 hp . He was also able to come up with a displacement of 1.9 l from four cylinders. The wheelbase had grown to 2896 mm.

In 1924 the brand was no longer represented on the market.
