WG Windham was a British manufacturer of automobiles and bodywork .

Company history

Captain WG Windham from London has worked in the automotive sector for a number of years. In 1896 he took part in the Emancipation Run , now known as the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run . He later made car bodies in his company. The so-called Sliding Detachable Motor Bodies were removable and interchangeable. Chassis from Mercedes and Renault have survived. In 1906 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Windham . Production ended in the same year.

Automobiles

The only model was the 20/30 HP . A four-cylinder engine powered the vehicles. The body was designed as a touring car .
