Mead & Deakin was a British automobile manufacturer based in Tyseley near Birmingham . From 1913 to 1915, small cars were built there under the names Medea and Media .

1913 was Medea 8 hp presented a Cyclecar , which had a series of two-cylinder engine with 1.0 liter displacement.

In 1914 the slightly larger Medea 8/10 hp followed . The light vehicle was equipped with a four-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 1.1 l. The car was built until 1915 with a slightly larger displacement.

Then the First World War put an end to manufacturing. After the war, the same company as Rhode Motor Co. built the Rhode lightweight automobile .
