Winco

Winco was a British automobile brand manufactured by Stringer & Co. in Sheffield, Yorkshire from 1913 to 1916 .

The first model, the 8 hp , came out in 1913 and was powered by a water-cooled two-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 1.12 l. The 3734 mm long and 1,524 mm wide car had a wheelbase of 2,896 mm and a track width of 1219 mm.

In 1915 the 9 hp replaced this first model. The displacement of the otherwise same vehicle was reduced to 1.07 l. The car was offered until 1916.

After the First World War , the manufacturer delivered vehicles and the name Stringer-Winco .
