JB Ferguson

JB Ferguson was an automobile manufacturer based in Belfast , Northern Ireland . In 1915 and then again in 1921–1922, upper middle class cars were built there under the name Fergus .

In 1915 the Fergus 14/20 hp appeared , a touring car with a four-cylinder in - line engine with a displacement of 2.6 l and an overhead camshaft . The wheelbase of the car was 3048 mm. Because of the First World War , only a few copies were built.

After the war, in 1921, an even larger car appeared, the Fergus OD 25 , which was equipped with a six-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 4.5 l and overhead valves . Its wheelbase was 3505 mm. The very conventionally designed car was only built until 1922.

The company closed its doors in 1922.
