Bayliss-Thomas was a British automobile brand that was founded by Excelsior Motor Co. Ltd. in 1922–1929 . was made in Tyseley near Birmingham .

The very conventional cars had side or overhead steering four - cylinder engines . Only the first 8 hp model , which came out in 1922, was only equipped with a two-cylinder engine.

From 1930 Excelsior stopped manufacturing automobiles and concentrated on manufacturing motorcycles .
