Galloway was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company Galloway Motors Limited was founded in 1921 by Arrol-Johnston in Tongland in Scotland established for the production of automobiles. In 1923 the company moved to Heathhall near Dumfries . Production ended in 1928.

The first model was the 10/20 HP . At first it was equipped with a four-cylinder engine with 1460 cm³ displacement and 20 hp . Between 1923 and 1925 the displacement was 1528 cm³. In 1924 the 12/20 HP model followed with a displacement of 1669 cm³, which was replaced in 1927 by the 12/30 HP with the same engine.

Vehicles of this brand can be seen in the Museum of Transport in Glasgow and in the Seppenbauer Automuseum in Sankt Salvator .
