description

Sheffield Simplex automobiles were luxury cars which, with a few exceptions, were equipped with six-cylinder in - line engines. Only three slightly smaller models with four-cylinder engines were created.

After the First World War , the manufacturer found it difficult to sell the expensive cars. From 1922, only a four-cylinder model was offered, but only a few were made. Production finally ended in 1927.

A vehicle is in the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, Australia . Another is in the Kelham Island Museum in Sheffield.
