Maxim was a British car brand.

Company history

The company London General Automobil Co Limited from London began producing automobiles in 1902 under the direction of Sir Hiram Stevens Maxim . In 1905 production was stopped.

The only model offered was the 16 HP . It was equipped with a two-cylinder engine that was mounted in the front of the chassis and powered the rear axle.

A vehicle of this brand occasionally competes in the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run .
