Company history
The company from the London borough of Willesden began producing automobiles in 1902. The brand name was New Century . Production ended in 1903. There was no association with Hoyle Brothers and Century Engineering , which used the same brand name.

The Hythe was a steam car . A three-cylinder - steam engine drove through a chain to the drive axle. There was also a model with a two-cylinder - petrol engine . The third model was an electric car . The electric motor came from the National Motor Carriage Syndicate .
