Company history

The Highgate company began manufacturing automobiles in 1903. The brand name was Highgate . There was a connection to Lacoste & Battmann . Production ended in 1904.

Only one model was on offer. A single-cylinder engine with 6.5 hp , which, depending on the source, came from Aster or De Dion-Bouton , drove the rear axle. In 1904 the model was slightly revised and received an improved honeycomb cooler . At the same time, the price was reduced from £ 178.50 to £ 131.25.
