McLachlan Engine Company , previously EA McLachlan , was a British manufacturer of engines and automobiles .
Company history
The company EA McLachlan from the London district of Stoke Newington presented late 19th century engines, delivered with heavy oil were operated. In 1899 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was McLachlan . In 1900 the name was changed to McLachlan Engine Company and the company moved to the London Borough of Hackney . Automobile production ended in the same year. In total, only a few vehicles were built.

The company manufactured small cars that were equipped with their own engines. What has come down to us is a three-wheeler model from 1899 with a single cylinder engine with 2.5 hp in the rear, which was offered for 75 pounds . In 1900 there was a four-wheel model with a single-cylinder engine with 3.5 hp.
