Monk & Lonsdale was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Brighton company began manufacturing automobiles in 1900. The designer was Albert Lambourne, who later manufactured the Old Mill . The brand name was Lonsdale . Production ended in the same year. Another source gives the construction period between 1900 and 1902.

Only one model was on offer. This was a small car. A single-cylinder engine developed in-house with an output of 2.5 hp drove the drive axle via belts. The open vehicle offered space for two people.
