The Mansfield company began manufacturing automobiles in 1903. The brand name was King & Bird . Production ended in the same year.

The only model was a small car. A single-cylinder engine of De Dion-Bouton drove the vehicle. The engine output is given as 3.5 HP or 4.5 HP.
