Ilford Motor Car & Cycle Co. was a British manufacturer of motor vehicles .
Company history
The Ilford-based company began producing motorcycles and automobiles in 1902 . The brand name was Regina for the two-wheelers and Ilford for the cars. Automobile production ended in 1903 and motorcycle production in 1915.
Automobiles
Only one model was on offer. A single-cylinder engine from MMC with 5 HP power was mounted in the front of the vehicle and drove the rear axle via a cardan shaft . The transmission had three gears. The body offered space for four people. The face -to-face seating arrangement was unusual for a front-engined vehicle .
