HT Dawson & Son was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Henry Thomas Dawson and Paris Singer manufactured stationary engines between 1897 and 1900 in a company in the London borough of Clapham . They planned to make automobiles, but they parted ways before the first prototype was ready. Dawson then founded their own company in Canterbury with his son . The production of automobiles began. The brand name was Dawson . Production ended in the same year. The son founded Canterbury Motor in 1903 .
