William Peck founded the company in the Edinburgh district of Granton in 1898 and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Madelvic . Production ended in 1900. Kingsburgh Motor Construction Company took over the company.

Electric cars were on offer . Two large front wheels were steered, behind them there was a small driven wheel. This drive unit could be mounted on any motorless carriage. The Brougham body shape has been handed down .
