Phoenix Motor Works

The Phoenix Motor Works were a British car manufacturer in Southport (Lancashire) . 1902–1904 vehicles of the lower middle class were built there .

By 1902 the works had built the Hudlass . Then the same car appeared as the Phoenix and was produced until 1904.

In 1904 a three-cylinder model appeared under the name Barcar . This car, of which no further details are known, was so unsuccessful that the company had to close its doors in 1904.
