Company history

The Hereford company made bicycles. In 1899 the production of automobiles began under the direction of Mr. Rough. The brand name was Royal Hereford . Automobile production ended in 1900. In total, only a few copies were made.

Automobiles

The only model was a small two-seater. A two-cylinder engine with 2 HP power drove the rear axle. The exhaust was designed to warm the driver and passenger's feet in winter. The solid rubber tires are remarkable. One vehicle was registered for a 1000 mile drive but ultimately did not participate in the drive.
