Autocar Construction Company Ltd. was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Manchester company took over the production rights from Accles-Turrell Autocars in 1902 and began manufacturing automobiles. The brand names were Autocar and Hermes . Production ended in 1903. There was no connection to the American Autocar Company .

The 10/15 HP corresponded to the model of the same name from Accles-Turrell. It appeared in 1902. A two-cylinder engine was mounted under the front seats. The barrel body offered space for four people. According to another source, the engine developed 25 hp . It is also called a four-cylinder engine model .

Brand name Autocar

Only one model was marketed under this brand name. The engine developed 20 hp.
