Marriott Cycle Company Ltd. was a British manufacturer of bicycles , motorcycles and automobiles .

Company history

John Marriott founded the company. It was based initially at 16 Sampson Road North in Birmingham , later in Hay Mills near Birmingham, and a sales agency at 71 Queen Street in London . It was already making bicycles at the end of the 19th century. Motorcycles followed later. In 1901 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Marriott . Automobile production ended in 1902.

Quadricycles were on offer . A single-cylinder engine of De Dion-Bouton 2.75 hp power powered vehicles.
