General Motor Car

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The General Motor Car Co. Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer based in London . From 1902 to 1905, cars of various sizes were built there.

In 1902 two models were offered, a small car called Doctor's Coupe with 6½ hp (approx. 0.8 l displacement) and a racing car with 40 hp (approx. 7.0 l displacement). None of the models sold particularly well. In the last year of production, 1905, a number of new models of various types appeared (at least on paper), none of which, however, to the regret of the company management, were accepted by the market.

As a result, the company finally had to close its doors in 1905.
