Empress engine

The Empress Motor Co. Ltd .. was a British automobile manufacturer in Manchester . From 1907 to 1910, upper middle-class cars were built there. There were six different models, but more precise data is known for only two.

The Empress 14/20 hp had an inline four-cylinder engine with 3.2 l displacement. Its wheelbase was 2,896 mm.

Larger was the Empress 20/30 hp , whose six-cylinder in-line engine had a displacement of 4.9 l. The wheelbase of the car was 3,505 mm.

The two models mentioned were available throughout the four years of production. After 1910 nothing more was heard of this brand.
