Silvertown Company was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company from the London borough of Silvertown belonged to India Rubber, Gutta Percha & Telegraph Works Ltd. In 1903 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Silvertown . Production ended in 1910.
vehicles
Silvertown made electric cars. An electric motor drove the vehicles. In 1908 a model appeared with two motors, each of which drove one axle. The front-wheel drive could be turned off . The range was given as 80 km. Many bodies were made by WF Thorn Ltd. manufactured. A landaulet body has survived.
