Joubert Miles
Joubert Miles was a British manufacturer of bicycles and automobiles .
Company history
Joubert Miles founded the company in Sharpness in the 1880s and began manufacturing bicycles. Later he made motorcycle frames for other manufacturers. He manufactured automobiles between 1910 and 1912. The brand name was Miles . Bicycle production only ended after the Second World War .
Automobiles
Miles mostly manufactured small cars. The first model was a self-developed tricycle with a tubular frame. The common feature of all vehicles was the built-in engine from JAP and the chain drive. The choice was between air cooling and water cooling . Later a four-wheeled small car was on offer. There was also a larger vehicle, of which only one or two copies were made.
