Adams Hewitt

Adams-Hewitt was the brand name of vehicles with single-cylinder and two-cylinder engines from Adams Manufacturing Co. Ltd. in Bedford , Great Britain (founder A. H. Adams). The vehicle development was based on the single-cylinder type Hewitt 10 HP (Horsepower) from Hewitt Motor Co., New York (founder: Edward Ringwood Hewitt). The Adams-Hewitt brand only existed from 1905 to 1907, while other vehicles were sold under the Adams name until around 1914 .
