English Mechanic was a British car brand.
Company history
The magazine The English Mechanic and World of Science and Art spread from 1900 to 1905 a number of articles of the engineer Hyler White, with the help of technically skilled people using on the market parts could assemble their own cars, so to speak, the first kit cars of Automobile history. The short form of the magazine, English Mechanic , was used as the brand name .

Two vehicles of this brand, a 3 HP two-seater from 1900 and an 8 HP tonneau from 1904, have been preserved and occasionally take part in the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run .
The Bonhams auction house offered a vehicle from 1900 on November 2, 2018, expected a price of £ 65,000 to £ 85,000 , achieved a maximum bid of £ 58,000 and did not sell the vehicle.
