Ekstromer was a British car brand.

Company history

The company Ekstromer Accumulator Company Limited presented batteries ago. The seat was in London in the area around Walbrook . In 1905 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Ekstromer . According to The Engineer , a two-seater was presented at the Islington Motor Car Show in March 1905 . Vehicle production ended in the same year.

A connection to Oppermann is recorded from January 4, 1906 . Entries in The London Gazette are dated November 8, 1910 and February 24, 1911.

Electric cars were on offer . One of several versions had an open body with space for two people. The range was given as 160 km.

In 1905 a vehicle covered the 172.8 km long route from London to Bath without reloading at an average speed of 21.6 km / h.
