Hurst & Middleton , previously G. Hurst , was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
George Hurst ran the Hurst & Lloyd company in London with his partner Lewis A. Lloyd . After separating in 1900, he founded his own company called G. Hurst in Holloway (London) and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Hurst . In 1906 RE Middleton joined the company, which was then renamed Hurst & Middleton Ltd. was renamed. The brand name was now Hurmid for a model. Production ended in 1907.

In 1900 the Hurst 12 HP appeared with a two-cylinder engine . The Hurst 24 HP was only offered in 1902 and had a four-cylinder in - line engine with a displacement of 5.2 liters . Its wheelbase was 2438 mm.
New series models appeared in 1906. The Hurst 15/18 HP was also equipped with a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3.3 liters. Its wheelbase is specified as 2819 mm. The middle model was the Hurst 30 HP with a six-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 5.6 liters. It had a 3124 mm wheelbase. The top model was the Hurst 60 HP on the same chassis, whose engine - also equipped with six cylinders - had a displacement of 8.6 liters.
The last model was the Hurmid 30/40 HP . Its six-cylinder engine had a displacement of 5880 cc.
