International Motor Car
International was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company International Motor Car Co of London began in 1898 with the production of automobiles. Production ended in 1904.

Between 1898 and 1901 the Roger-Benz model was offered with single-cylinder and two-cylinder engines, which corresponded to the French Roger-Benz . In 1899 there was a two-seater racing car, the 12 HP as a double phaeton , which was similar to the Benz models at the time , and the 9 HP with a two-cylinder engine. From 1900 there was the Charette model with a front engine from De Dion-Bouton , which was assembled by Allard & Co. The single cylinder engine developed 5 to 6 HP from a displacement of 823 cm³ .
From 1902 one model was offered under the brand name Armstrong , and from 1903 four models as Portland .
Vehicles of this make can be seen in the Louwman Collection in The Hague and the Shuttleworth Collection in Biggleswade in Bedfordshire .
