Brough was a British manufacturer of motorcycles and automobiles .

Company history

William E. Brough founded the company in the Nottingham suburb of Basford in 1899 and began producing motorcycles. His sons William junior and George Brough supported him in this. The brand name was Brough . Some automobiles were also made by 1913. In 1919 George Brough founded his own company, Brough Superior . In 1925, Brough Superior took over the company.

Automobiles

The first model was a small car with three wheels. A built-in engine from De Dion-Bouton drove the rear axle via a belt. The company later made some four-wheeled vehicles.
