DL engine

The DL Motor Co. Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire . Small cars were built there between 1913 and 1916 .

The DL 8 hp appeared in 1913 and had a four-cylinder in-line engine. Its wheelbase was 2438 mm.

1915–1916 the slightly larger DL 10/12 hp , also called DL 11.9 hp , was offered. Its four-cylinder engine had a displacement of 1.3 to 1.35 l. The wheelbase was 2438 mm or 2896 mm.

After the First World War , the brand could not be revived.
