New Orleans was a British car brand.

Company history

The company Burford, Van Toll & Co from Twickenham began in 1900 with the production of automobiles . In 1901 it was renamed New Orleans Motor Co Limited . The vehicles were marketed as "New Orleans". When the company was renamed Orleans Motor Co Limited in 1905 , the brand name also changed to Orleans .

The first 3½ HP model was a license from the Belgian Vivinus . It was equipped with a single cylinder engine with a displacement of 707 cm³ . Between 1900 and 1901 there was also the 7 CV model with a two-cylinder engine and initially 1408 cc, later 1418 cc. The two-cylinder 9 HP model was offered from 1902 to 1904 . In 1904 the four-cylinder models 12 HP and 14 HP followed . The largest model was the 15 HP with a four-cylinder engine and 3456 cm³ displacement, which existed between 1904 and 1905.

Two vehicles of this brand occasionally take part in the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run .
