Chinnock-Davis Motor Manufacturing Company was a British manufacturer of bicycles and automobiles .

Company history

The company from the London borough of Penge began producing bicycles and automobiles in 1899. The brand name was Chinnock . In 1900 the company presented vehicles at a trade fair in Crystal Palace . Production ended in the same year.

Automobiles

On the one hand, there were motorized tricycles on offer. The open body offered space for two people. There was a choice of single-cylinder engines with 2.75 hp and 3.5 hp. Another source mentions a built-in engine from De Dion-Bouton with 2.25 hp.

In addition, four-wheeled voiturettes were created , available with either a short or a long wheelbase . The engine developed 3 hp.
