Acme & Immisch Electrical Works , previously Messrs M. Immisch & Co , was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Moritz Immisch (1838-1903) founded in 1882 in London , the company Messrs M. Immisch & Co , which was active in consumer electronics and electrics. In 1887 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Immisch . The company's name was later changed to Acme & Immisch Electrical Works . Other entrepreneurs such as Magnus Volk purchased Immisch engines for their own motor vehicles. Automobile production ended in 1897. Overall, only a few vehicles were built, mostly for customers.

The company made some electric cars. In-house developed electric motors propelled the vehicles. Three- and four-wheel models were made. Sultan Abdülhamid II obtained a vehicle from Immisch.
