Emerald was a British car brand.

Company history

The company Douglas S. Cox & Co. of West Norwood in London began in 1903 with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Emerald . Production ended in 1904. The company later made the Osterfield .

vehicles

The only model was a voiturette . A single cylinder engine with 4 HP power drove the rear axle via a belt. The transmission had two gears.
