Wilton Cars

The Wilton Cars Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer based in London from 1912 to 1924 .

The first of these small cars appeared in 1912 and was equipped with a V2 engine with a displacement of 963 cm³. Until the First World War , three different four-cylinder models were produced, all with a wheelbase of 2743 mm.

After the war, the production of these light vehicles revived in 1920. The four-cylinder engines had grown somewhat, but were still in the pre-war chassis.

The company closed its doors in 1924.

In addition to the above models, a German automobile magazine reported on a new model in 1919. The four-cylinder engine with a 66.5 mm bore and 95 mm stroke had a displacement of 1320 cm³ and developed 12 hp. The wheelbase was 2743 mm (9 feet) and the track was 1219 mm (4 feet).
