Century Cars Ltd. was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The London company started producing automobiles in 1928. The brand name was Century . Production ended in 1929. In total, only a few copies were made.

The 7 HP small car was on offer . A four-cylinder engine powered the vehicle. A special feature was that it was a two-stroke engine and the crankshaft with five bearings . Initially 56 mm bore and 76 mm stroke were mentioned , resulting in 747 cm³ displacement . These dimensions corresponded to the four-stroke engine of the Austin Seven . Later a smaller engine with 49.2 mm bore, 85 mm stroke and 646 cm³ displacement was mentioned. An open two-seater was offered for £ 100 . There was also a two-door sedan.
