Corona (British car brand)

Corona was a British automobile brand manufactured by the Meteor Manufacturing Co. in London from 1920-1923 .

The Corona 10.4 hp appeared in 1920 and had a water-cooled inline four-cylinder engine from Coventry-Climax with a displacement of 1.5 l. The wheelbase of the car was 2,616 mm.

In 1922 the smaller Corona 9 hp replaced this model. In the car, which had a wheelbase of only 2,286 mm, Meteor installed a side-controlled in-line two - cylinder engine of its own manufacture, which had a displacement of 1.0 l.

In 1923 a slightly larger car replaced this model. The Corona 9.8 hp was again equipped with a four-cylinder engine from Coventry-Climax with a displacement of 1.25 l. The wheelbase had grown to 2,591 mm.

In the following year, the brand disappeared from the market.
