The Metro Tyler Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer based in London . Cyclecars were built there between 1921 and 1923 .
The Metro-Tyler 5/6 hp was introduced in 1921 and had an air-cooled two-stroke two - cylinder engine with a displacement of 0.55 l. The wheelbase was 2438 mm.
In 1922 the engine was replaced by a side-controlled four - stroke engine with the same number of cylinders and 0.7 l displacement.
In 1923 it became clear that there were too few customers for the all-too-simple car, despite the low purchase price. The company had to close its doors.
