Company history
The Hythe company began manufacturing automobiles in 1909. The brand name was Worthington . Production ended in 1912.
vehicles
The only runabout model was a small car. Initially, a self-made two - cylinder boxer engine with 8 hp powered the vehicle. A V2 engine from JAP with 8/9 hp was later used. The engine power was transmitted via two chains to a countershaft and from there via a belt to the rear axle. The open body offered space for two people. The original price was 90 pounds .
