Staines Motor Company was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Staines-upon-Thames company started producing automobiles in 1906. The brand name was Staines-Simplex . Production ended in 1912.

vehicles

The models on offer were 8/10 HP with a two-cylinder engine and 15/20 HP with a four-cylinder engine . The engines came from Coventry-Simplex . The engines were mounted in the front of the vehicle, before the radiator, and powered the rear axle via a cardan shaft .
