Léo was a French car brand.

Company history

The company Léon Lefebvre from Paris began in 1896 with the development of automobiles . Participation with two vehicles in the car race from Paris to Marseille and back was planned. However, the vehicles were not ready in time. Production only began in 1897. The vehicles were marketed as Léo . Production ended in 1898. Léon Lefèbvre later also made the bolide .

There were two models on offer that were equipped with two-cylinder Pygmee engines. The engine output was either 3 HP or 6 HP and was transmitted to the drive axle via belts.
