The Nidym ( Russian Ни́дым ) is a left tributary of the Lower Tunguska in the Krasnoyarsk region in the Asian part of Russia .

The Nidym rises in the Jangil Mountains in the west of the Central Siberian Mountains . It initially flows north, later it turns west-northwest. The Nidym flows through a narrow, deeply cut river valley. It takes up the Nidymkan from the left and then flows another 46 km north, before finally flowing into the Lower Tunguska, 20 km southwest of Tura , which flows west.

The Nidym has a length of 379 km. It drains an area of ​​14,500 km². The nidym is fed by rain and snowmelt . It is covered with ice between October and May.
