Niederndorf is a district of Kraftsdorf in the Greiz district in Thuringia .

geography

The district lies between Harpersdorf and Töppeln , west of Gera in the Erlbachtal . The valley and the local road 1070 rise slowly from east to west from 218 to 228 meters above sea level. The federal motorway 4 flanks the district to the north and the Gera - Erfurt railway line runs through the corridor.

history

Half-timbered house

Niederndorf was first mentioned in a document on April 11, 1346. A church , partly of Romanesque origin, was restored after a fire in 1689/90. On July 1, 1950, Kaltenborn was incorporated. On the same day, the farming villages of Oberndorf and Harpersdorf were incorporated into Kraftsdorf.
